Languages
We are looking for Guides who are fluent in one of the following languages:
Albanian |
Kazakh |
We are looking for volunteers of all ages to help us out with many different aspects of this week long event. This is an exciting opportunity to meet people from around the world and give a positive impression of Waterloo, Ontario and Canada. High school student volunteers will receive credit for their hours for use toward the Community Involvement requirement for Secondary School Graduation.
We are looking for volunteers who can communicate clearly and enjoy working with others and meeting people from around the world. Mathematical and/or technical inclination is not a requirement for most of these volunteer positions. Also, the ability to speak another language is an asset, but not a requirement; there will be teams from many English-speaking countries at the event. Local public transportation and meals will be provided for IOI volunteers during the week.
Please see the Volunteer Information Sheet and Volunteer Application Form.
If you are interested in volunteering, please download the Volunteer Application form, fill it out, save it, and email it back to Jen Nissen, the IOI Volunteer Coordinator, by Wednesday, March 31st.
